Dance
Our Dance stream focuses on hip-hop dance technique, commercial dance and choreography. Hip-hop techniques include locking, popping, break dance and house, giving our students a well rounded repertoire and a high level of level of discipline. Our teachers are industry professionals, with dance and choreography credits with Dua Lipa, Ellie Goulding, BRIT Awards, X Factor, Boy Blue, Avant Garde Dance, The Lion King, Jesus Christ Superstar and others.
Vocals
Our Vocal stream focuses on establishing foundational skills both in technique and character that contribute to a great vocalist/vocal performance. Our main focus is to help students reach their full potential, wherever they’re at on their vocal journey. Our teachers have experience performing in venues such as The O2 Arena, Wembley SSE Arena and West End theatres, and are passionate about bringing all they’ve learned (and continue to learn) to their classes.
Acting
Actors are the artists who bring stories to life. At Amplified Arts Academy we believe in training actors and preparing them to walk into the industry or further training, with passion, understanding, sensitivity and the skills to thrive, grow and make an impact. Our acting stream focuses on craft, creativity and collaboration, through fun and engaging classes, delivered by highly skilled teachers who are working professionally in the theatre/film/TV industries.
Music
Our Music Stream offers classes in Drums, Guitars and Keyboards. Tuition focuses on theory and technique, offering students the opportunity to cultivate essential foundations that will help them excel in performance. AMP Music aims to develop musicians with confidence, discipline, and a high level of skill, through an interactive and holistic programme of musical education. Resident coaches and guest teachers have worked with Stormzy, Ellie Goulding, Little Mix, Tom Jones, Michael Bublé and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
Collectives
Our Collective pathway runs across three streams: Vocals, Music and Producers:
Vocals Collective provides a space to upskill in song writing through exploration, coaching and masterclasses, as well as a holistic approach to developing as creative artists. In association with the world-famous Tileyard Studios, our goal is to provide practical pathways to record labels, publishers and management companies, whilst fostering a supportive and inspiring community hub for emerging artists.
Music Collective is designed for advanced level musicians who have a desire to pursue music as a career. Collective Music is a collaborative space, where musicians can compose, produce and share their music with mentors and peers. Our goal is to help musicians sharpen their creativity and artistic expression, by providing an environment where up-and-coming musicians can seek advice and mentorship, and industry professionals can share keys to development, longevity and success.
AMP Collective are seeking to develop budding music producers: bringing together the young person making beats in their bedroom with the producers who have made hit records. The development framework includes learning how to work with songwriters, education on the latest software, and access to prestigious music studios. Throughout the programme, producers are mentored in developing a body of work, as well as gaining valuable insight and connections to the music industry.
